Mike MillardAudio Someone once observed that one problem with the church today is that too many people are satisfied with just reaching the starting line. He meant that many seem to be content with Christ just as their ticket into heaven; and live life as usual until its time they need to use the ticket. But the apostle Paul knew what we all need to know: that God wants our faith in Christ to be a life-changing experience here and now. Tonight, Mike Millard will share from the Apostle Paul's prayer what we need to ask from God in order to move beyond the starting line of our faith and into the journey of life with Christ.

Get Smart - A Study in Proverbs #6
David DawsonAudio / Notes / Questions / LeadersProverbs has much to say about the danger of sexual seduction. I am sure that few of us will be surprised by what it says. Yet, temptation around sex and marital faithfulness is very strong. The stakes are high, but many fall. My prayer is that we will hear the warnings, and listen to the practical advice as to how we can guard our lives and relationships. Are you ready to let God into this part of your life? Are you ready to receive his healing and find his strength to pursue faithfulness?

Dave MarttunenAudio She didn’t have her name recorded, but her life is heroic. She was a slave girl who lived as an evangelist in a foreign home. Encouragement, strength, and purpose are written in the margins of this girl’s life. As we meet tonight to give thanks as a people, we will walk with a little girl whose faith and freedom are an inspiration to all of us who face any kind of limitation. Tonight, Pastor Dave will continue in his series, “Walking with the Giants”.

Get Smart - A Study in Proverbs #5
Dave MarttunenAudio / Notes / Questions / LeadersAnger is in. Rage is here to stay. Blood pressures boil, tummies knot, fists clench, jaws lock; anger has physical as well as emotional components. Yet, not all anger is open and aggressive. Some is subtle, more like dry wood than the flame itself; whispers, contentions, quick retorts are all fuels to the fire of anger. Proverbs describes it all, but what is best, it describes solutions to our anger. This morning, Pastor Dave Marttunen continues with the series from Proverbs, Get Smart, titled “Keep your Cool”.
