One of the most heartwarming of resurrection appearances is the time when Jesus appears to the disciples on the beach and restores Peter. Peter was a man of recent failure, having denied Christ in his moment of need. Yet Christ did not cast him off and Peter himself did not mope in his failure. Our hope is that as you appreciate the grace of God who restores failures that you will have confidence to draw near to God.
