I have lately been attracted to the picture of God in Psalm 29. It is a psalm of worship which opens us to the majesty of God. Here we see his raw power as the psalmist compares God to a thunderstorm. But what touches me the most is that although God is wonderfully powerful, he also blesses us with peace.
