How do you light a fire when the wood is wet, ring a bell when the clapper’s gone, or catch a breath when the water is over your head? Tough spots happen. By nature, tough spots are unpredictable. They are also overwhelming in the moment. So what is our strategy to survive the moment as we look for direction? David’s life gives us the key. The key will be shaking in our hands as we use it, and the door itself might be opposite to what we want, yet the promise is that if we let God lead us we will find His purpose fulfilled and our lives satisfied.
