David was anointed as the heir to the throne, but after Saul's death he had to fight for another 7 years to obtain it. How is it that after God has promised us something we need to work to obtain it? Is God unwilling, are our expectations out of alignment? Today we will discover that persistence, patience and endurance are essential components of following God's plan. Promises from God are not free-rides forward. Promises from God are more like a farmer's knowledge (planted seeds grow) than a slacker's hope (do nothing and get rich).
