What does a child mean to a parent, a family, and a community? In a word: hope. Children are the hope of our future. Each child is a gift from God that provides not only an expression of our love in marriage, but also our hope for our future. Each child, as a treasure from the Lord, pays forward the promise of God in the next generation. Each child is a visible reminder that God is at work in our present with purpose for our future.
