This morning, we welcome Doug Fordham, Director of Stewardship Ministries for the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in BC and Yukon. Doug is a Chartered Accountant and for over 35 years has been helping people manage their finances and other resources that God has entrusted to them. His sermon is titled, “How to Know When to Stop Giving”. We‟re coming to that time of year when we get bombarded with pleas to give money to all sorts of causes—some good and some not so worthwhile. We have to make choices. But what about giving to God? Where does that fit in? How would we know when to stop giving to God? What would happen if we didn‟t stop? What‟s the risk? Is it worth a try?
