Your concept of Christ fuels the spiritual progress of your life! Everything in Christianity flows from the person of Jesus. Outside of Christ, there is no message, no hope, and no plan in the New Testament, and the Old Testament takes on new proportions as the NT explains it. The message of the Bible is Jesus. John’s gospel, with few words, paints an unsurpassed portrait of Jesus Christ. This first hand account by John describes more than events in Jesus life as John goes behind the events and tells us what they mean. We will discover through John’s description that Jesus is a historical person supra historical existence. Jesus is God on mission. The life of Jesus is more than a statement on truth, he is the source of grace. We can only grow as followers of Jesus as we gain and maintain a proper concept of Jesus. As we do, we will worship him deeply and discover how to answer the questions that others pose to us about Him.
