Part of us feels that seeking a reward is contrary to noble spiritual aspirations. Should we do good for good's sake or for the sake of a reward? Yet, another part of us knows the value of reward and the motivating power of pleasure. How can we make sense of what the Bible says about spiritual rewards? Are there rewards in heaven? If yes, what are they and how should we live to attain them?
