As we have reflected on heaven and the glorious hope of our resurrection life, it is time we consider the warnings of scripture which tell of judgment and hell. The scriptures make it clear that there is such a thing as spiritual danger and the descriptions of hell are there to serve as warnings, that we might avoid such a fate. As we consider the terrible nature of hell, may we recognize that God is doing all he can to prevent people from entering such a place.
