Our study in Micah focuses on the Lord's requirement that we act justly, love mercy and walk humbly. My hope is that we will find these to be a glad response to grace, rather than an insecure attempt to curie God's favour. There is a certain confidence when you are in a secure relationship. When you are loved, your efforts to please the other person can flow out of a genuine heart rather than a nervous performance made to secure a doubted affection.
