Many designed machines don’t work. There is a gap between pictured and modeled. The drawings exist, but when the machine is manufactured, it can’t deliver. The first flying machines were like that; fancy ideas that didn’t work. They looked great, and fueled the imagination, but they just didn’t work. Today, as we continue to study the letter to Titus, we will learn that God has designed our salvation to be a work in progress. We are not only designed to become something, but we are designed by Him to do something. Our salvation comes in work clothes not party dress. We, as God’s children, are given clear working drawings by Him that, when followed, lead us to activity.
