The Mission of Jesus

In John 1:14 we see that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus was the great incarnational missionary ... he left the culture of heaven, the economy of heaven, the language of heaven, the comfort and joy and knowledge of heaven and took on the tangible mess of our world ... so that through his life, death and resurrection we could be reconciled to God. As his followers, how are we living in response to what he has exampled and done for us? Are we on mission with him and walking worthy of our calling?
